In this post, I discussed wet shaving reducing environmental impact, helping keep the planet green.
During my shave today, the thought occurred that without world peace and free trade, we wet shavers would really be over a barrel.
Consider the global representation involved in the shave:
- Russian blade.
- German razor.
- Lather made with Turkish soap and Italian cream.
- British brush with badger hair from China.
- Towel from Vietnam… or was it the Philippines? I need to double check that.
- Finished off with French cologne (mmmm…. Guerlain Vetiver)
- and oh yeah, I did splash some American witch hazel as a toner.
So yeah, I think it would be worthwhile to pursue this. ‘Wet shaving for World Peace’, or ‘Shave Aid’, or ‘Global Shave-in for Peace’.
